Writers are not supposed to abandon their websites. But there you have it. I've let mine go dormant. Woe is me.
I hope you're doing a better job keeping your ducks in a row. If you're not, no judgment here. Life sometimes gets messy. Sometimes very messy. But you can get back on track. Think of it as a detour you took that led you someplace you weren't expecting to go. Maybe you got lost for a while. Perhaps you stayed for tea or to watch some movies. It was comfortable, until it wasn't. Whatever the case, now you're looking to get back on track. Good for you. You can do it.
Or, perhaps you've been steaming along, full speed. Exactly where you want to go. Also, good for you. Life lived to its fullest, with complete intention, is a kick. Enjoy!
I'm currently enrolled in a wonderful, drinking-from-a-firehose marketing class called LUX run by Mary Weber and C.J. Redwine of the Red Herrings Society. If you're a writer, consider joining the Red Herrings Society. It's a wonderful group of writers. These two business partners are also published authors. Their incredible brains are packed full of current publishing and author branding wisdom. They also edit novels at all stages of writing.
That said, I'm on deadline to get the first draft of Asalire Rising Book 1 to C.J., my editor, by July 1.
After that, I'll need to shake this ratty website like a dog with a great, smelly gym sock. Wait, this metaphor? analogy? just got away from me. Kind of like my website. I'll need to spiff it up. No kidding! All the best to you.
